The guy through the wall is actually 2 metal frames.  Each is a bare shape covered with clothes and filled with paper for shape.  We had to attach fishing line to the legs and arms for balance and safety.  The small hooks can barely be seen in daylight.  His gloves are pinned and filled with batting and paper.  One year I placed a chainsaw in his hands and rigged a tape loop to a motion detector to go off as you walked under him.

Our hanging guy is a pair of pants with  a wire hanger for shaping at the waist.  Shoes are pinned to the pants and thick electrical gloves are pinned to the ceiling beside him.  Cheap gag, but great
